Turkmenistan’s government has formally launched a 2026 national investment program allocating 41.2 billion manats (approximately $24.2 billion) to key sectors including industry, agriculture, transport, energy, housing, and social infrastructure. The program is part of the broader 2026 socio‑economic development and investment concept approved by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, which aims to sustain GDP growth at around 6.3%, expand the private sector share of GDP, and create thousands of new jobs through new enterprises and construction projects.
