Showers, thunderstorms forecast nationwide over next 24 hours

The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has issued a warning for heavy showers and thunderstorms across Pakistan over the next 24 hours, with particular concern for urban flooding in low‑lying areas of Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Attock and Chakwal. Officials are urging local authorities and residents to prepare for possible flash flooding, disruption to traffic, and damage to infrastructure due to the expected intense rainfall and thunderstorms.
