Rwanda hosts regional health indicators meeting in Kigali
A regional health indicators meeting convened in Kigali to support the EAC regional SRMNCA/HIV/TB framework implementation and define data collection tools for 2025–2030.
An East African Community Taskforce meeting took place in Kigali, Rwanda, bringing together regional health experts to define indicators and data collection tools that will support the implementation of the EAC regional cross-border SRMNCA/HIV/TB framework for 2025–2030. Participants developed the EAC RMNCAH indicators booklets and mapped existing data sources to strengthen regional monitoring and coordination. The event is part of broader efforts to harmonize health data and improve cross-border responses to maternal, neonatal, child, and adolescent health, HIV, and tuberculosis in the region.
