North Macedonia's Parliament has approved the 2026 budget, which plans total revenues of about 375 billion denars and expenditures of around 414 billion denars, with a deficit of 3.5% of GDP. The budget aims to maintain economic stability, support capital investments, and continue responsible fiscal management. Finance Minister Gordana Dimitrieska-Kochoska highlighted that the budget is based on achieved economic results and expectations of continuing positive trends. The government intends to enhance revenue collection, reduce the informal economy, and ensure the timely payment of public obligations while promoting sustainable development and investor confidence.
