National Workplace Health Promotion Week for Healthcare Workers in Moldova
Moldova concluded a national workplace health promotion week focused on healthcare workers' health, with activities across several districts to promote safety and prevent occupational risks.
From 6 to 10 April 2026, Moldova held the national workplace health promotion week dedicated to healthcare workers, organized by the National Agency for Public Health with the Ministry of Health, Nicolae Testemițanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Healthy Life project, and medical institutions. Thematic workshops and information sessions took place in districts including Rezina, Soroca, Hîncești and Căușeni, emphasizing prevention of occupational diseases, identification of risk factors, health monitoring, and safe work environments. The initiative aimed to strengthen the healthcare system by improving working conditions for medical staff.
