Launch of Technopark IT Hub in Bishkek
Kyrgyzstan opens a major new IT hub in Bishkek, designed to host 1,500 jobs and support digital innovation and entrepreneurship.
On April 10, 2026, the Technopark IT hub in Bishkek was officially inaugurated, marking a milestone for Kyrgyzstan’s tech sector. The 14,000 square meter facility, built with over 2 billion KGS (about $22 million) in private investment, includes office spaces, co‑working areas, conference rooms, and a podcast studio. It hosts leading online services and cryptocurrency platforms, and was visited by President Sadyr Japarov, who welcomed the Hub’s home‑grown robot assistant BilimBot. The project strengthens the country’s High Technology Park framework and supports long‑term digitalization and tax‑friendly policies for tech firms.
