Ivory Coast continues to manage a cholera outbreak that began in mid-2025, with recent cases reported in the Port‑Bouët–Vridi health district near Abidjan. Stool samples confirmed Vibrio cholerae, leading to multiple deaths and dozens of cases in Vridi Akobrate. The National Institute of Public Hygiene and local health teams have strengthened surveillance, treatment, and oral rehydration site deployment in affected communities.
