Armed men stormed a supermarket in Bridgetown, stole cash and forced staff to the floor before fleeing in a vehicle.
On March 27, 2026, shortly before midnight, multiple armed suspects entered a large supermarket in the Bridgetown area, forced employees to the ground at gunpoint, and took cash from the till and safe. The incident caused panic among customers, several of whom were guided to safety by staff. Police responded within minutes, cordoned off the area, and began reviewing CCTV footage.
