ApplePhish ruby phishing campaign targets Peru

ApplePhish ruby is a phishing campaign targeting Peru with malicious links distributed via WhatsApp and Telegram.

Cyber security researchers have detected a Ruby‑based phishing campaign, dubbed ApplePhish ruby, actively targeting Peruvian users. The campaign distributes SMS‑style HTML pages through WhatsApp and Telegram, luring victims into entering their credentials on fake Apple login pages. The pages mimic legitimate Apple services and redirect users to localized phishing fronts served from Peru, enabling the theft of authentication tokens and personal data.
