New cyber threat monitoring system launched in Kyrgyzstan
Kyrgyzstan has launched the first stage of a national Cyber Threat Monitoring Center to track and respond to cyber threats.
The first stage of the Cyber Threat Monitoring Center project in Kyrgyzstan has been completed, strengthening the country's ability to monitor, detect, and respond to cyber threats. The center, developed with support from the International Telecommunication Union, aims to centralize the detection of cyberattacks, improve incident response, and enhance coordination between government agencies and critical infrastructure operators. The Ministry of Digital Development and Innovative Technologies reports that the system will be expanded in subsequent phases to cover a broader range of digital threats and sectors.
