Multiple armed robberies occur on the Kampala–Masaka highway targeting motorists and pedestrians in traffic jams.
Armed gangs on boda bodas and on foot are attacking motorists and pedestrians in traffic jams along the Kampala–Masaka highway, particularly in the Busega to Kyengera stretch. Victims are being robbed of phones, bags, cash, and other valuables, with police reporting several follow‑up arrests and recovery of stolen property.
