Since early December 2023, Kursiv.Media has experienced coordinated cyberattacks involving massive DDOS traffic, attempts to tamper with corporate mail and servers, and phishing campaigns directed at employees. The DDOS component alone generated up to 1.3 billion requests over several days, roughly 400 times more than usual, causing periods of website inaccessibility. The attacks also extended to Kursiv.Media's Telegram channel and Instagram account, which were temporarily blocked. These disruptions reduce the reliability and availability of health-related news and updates for the public, especially in emergencies when timely information is critical.
