Firearm attack at Istanbul market in Rustavi leaves four dead and one injured.
A shooting incident occurred in the market area of Rustavi, central Georgia, resulting in the deaths of four individuals and the injury of one person, according to the Georgian Interior Ministry. The perpetrator, G.O.-M., born in 1988, fired several shots inside the so‑called Istanbul market premises. Among the deceased was one of the defendant’s uncles who worked at the market; the injured person, identified as the accused’s cousin, was taken to hospital for treatment. The shooter was detained at the scene and is in custody; law enforcement has launched an investigation into the circumstances and motives of the attack.
