DDoS attacks targeting Cypriot websites
Several websites in Cyprus have been subjected to Distributed Denial-of-Service attacks, causing temporary unavailability.
In recent days, multiple websites in Cyprus have come under DDoS attacks, in which artificial traffic floods sites and overloads their servers, rendering them temporarily inaccessible to users. The Communications Commissioner has described these attacks as the most common type and generally considered low risk, but they still disrupt normal service during the attack period.
