Police confirm arrest of Banjul robbery suspects
Suspects arrested in connection with a recent armed robbery in Banjul involving a shop hold‑up and vehicle abandonment.
Two armed individuals stormed a shop in Banjul, held the shopkeeper at gunpoint, and stole cash before fleeing the scene. Following the robbery the suspects abandoned their getaway vehicle in Banjul and escaped via a commercial vehicle to Sting Corner, where they divided the stolen money. Police investigations led to the arrest and confirmation of the suspects involved in this robbery incident.
