German authorities have shut down Crimenetwork, the largest German-speaking underground marketplace used for trading illegal goods and services.
German authorities announced the takedown of Crimenetwork, the largest German-speaking online crime marketplace, used for the sale of drugs, forged documents, hacking tools, and stolen data. As part of the operation, an administrator was arrested and assets worth approximately one million euros in cryptocurrency were seized. The platform operated for years and had up to 100,000 users and 100 sellers, primarily within German-speaking regions.
