The AirGE citizen network in Georgia has grown to 100 air pollution monitoring stations across 11 cities, providing real‑time data on dirty air amid a political crisis and weak state environmental monitoring. The network, developed by the NGO Green Pole with the Czech NGO Arnika, shows that pollution from obsolete industries, heavy traffic, old vehicles, and outdated heating systems continues to threaten public health and environment.
