Cyber Threats Surge to Top Risk for Bulgarian Businesses in 2026
Cyber incidents now represent the greatest risk for Bulgarian businesses in 2026, according to a global survey.
According to the Allianz Risk Barometer 2026, cyber incidents are the top risk for Bulgarian businesses, with 39 percent of surveyed company representatives in Bulgaria identifying them as such. This marks a substantial increase from 2025, when cyber incidents ranked 10th with 12 percent of the votes. The shift reflects growing concerns about cybercrime, ransomware attacks, IT system failures, and overall digital vulnerability in the country.
