Residents and environmental groups have reported new illegal dumping activities at an unsanitary landfill site near Ilidža, Sarajevo Canton. The area has a history of unregulated waste disposal, and recent observations indicate additional household and construction waste has been deposited without proper containment measures. There are concerns that leachate from the waste could seep into nearby soil and groundwater, posing potential risks to local water sources and public health.
