A cyberattack on energy supplier RWE Česká republika, exploiting a vulnerability in an IT service provider supporting its customer portal, led to theft of personal data for an estimated several thousand customers. The compromised information includes names, addresses, dates of birth, email addresses, and phone numbers; RWE stated that bank account details, payment information, and passwords were not accessed.
