A woman, identified as a government employee, was alone at her home in Andhra Pradesh on the afternoon of April 3, 2026, when an unidentified man reportedly entered her residence between 3:30 and 4:00 pm, claiming to ask for drinking water. Preliminary investigation indicates that the suspect gagged her, tied her hands, and then raped her at knifepoint. Police have launched an investigation into the case and are searching for the suspect.
