Medical facilities in southern Lebanon are struggling to manage casualties from ongoing Israeli attacks while coping with severe staff shortages and dangerous supply routes. At Nabatieh, one of the region's few operational hospitals, the number of injured fluctuates daily, with some critically wounded patients transferred to hospitals further north. Constant shelling and attacks complicate the delivery of vital supplies such as fuel for generators and medical oxygen, which recently reached critical levels until a recent delivery. These conditions are rapidly degrading an already fragile healthcare system.
