South Korea to Host 2026 UNFCCC Climate Week in Yeosu

South Korea will host the 2026 UNFCCC Climate Week in Yeosu in April, bringing together around 1,000 international climate experts to advance regional climate action and green transition.

South Korea has been selected to host the 2026 UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) Climate Week in Yeosu starting April 20. The event will run for six days around the Yeosu Expo Convention area and will convene approximately 1,000 climate experts from Korea and abroad, including ministerial-level officials from the Asia-Pacific region and the UNFCCC Executive Secretary. The gathering aims to strengthen regional cooperation on climate change, promote Korea’s Green Transformation (K-GX) agenda, and showcase policies for carbon neutrality. Hosted alongside International Week, the climate week will feature high-level dialogues, technical sessions, and exhibitions on clean energy, adaptation, and nature-based solutions.
