Zero Waste Exhibition 2026 in Kathmandu

A multi-day environmental fair in Kathmandu promotes circular economy practices, sustainable lifestyles, and waste reduction through exhibitions, workshops, and community engagement activities.

The Zero Waste Exhibition 2026 is being held at the Nepal Academy of Fine Arts in Kathmandu from March 30–31, organized by Rotary International District 3292 along with its 35 Rotary Clubs, Rotaract and Interact District 3292, and the Environmental Sustainability Rotary Action Group (ESRAG). Supported by the Department of Urban Development and Building Construction under the Ministry of Urban Development, UN Global Compact Nepal, Environmental Camps for Conservation Awareness (ECCA), HECAF 360, and Blue Waste to Value, the event showcases waste segregation, recycling, upcycling, and reuse technologies. Visitors can participate in interactive workshops, panel discussions, and demonstrations aimed at encouraging households, businesses, and institutions to adopt zero-waste practices and reduce plastic consumption.
