Weapons Cache Seized from Kolbaev Organized Crime Group in Tokmok

Kyrgyz special services discovered a hidden arsenal of mines, explosives, and weapons in Tokmok, believed to be linked to the late Kamchy Kolbaev crime group.

During operational search activities targeting organized crime, the State National Security Committee of Kyrgyzstan uncovered a clandestine weapons and ammunition cache in Tokmok. Preliminary data indicate the arsenal belonged to members of the organized crime group led by the late criminal authority Kamchy Kolbaev. The seized cache included mines, explosive devices, and various firearms, underscoring the group’s capacity for large‑scale violence. Special services believe this hideout was prepared for use in future illegal operations, including attacks or intimidation. The discovery marks a significant blow to the remnants of Kolbaev’s network and highlights ongoing efforts to dismantle powerful mafia‑style structures in the country.
