SVG receiving help to prioritise zoonotic diseases
FAO and partners assist SVG in prioritizing zoonotic disease risks using the One Health Approach.
The Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) and partners are supporting Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, along with Grenada, St Lucia, and Saint Kitts and Nevis, to prioritize zoonotic diseases and strengthen policy through the One Health Approach. This collaboration aims to improve surveillance, preparedness, and response to animal‑borne diseases that could spill over to humans in SVG.
