$7 million-plus budgeted to improve public health in Guanacaste
Significant investment planned to expand and upgrade public health facilities in Guanacaste Province.
The Costa Rican Social Security system has announced a budget of $7,058,647 for construction, improvements, and equipment purchases for clinics and public hospitals in Guanacaste Province, with projects including new clinics in districts such as Bagaces, Liberia, Carrillo, Nicoya, Guadalupe, La Costa, Barrio Unión, Sámara, and Villarreal, among others, extending into 2025.
