Effective March 16, 2026, travelers bound for Brazil, Peru, and select high‑risk countries in Africa must present proof of vaccination before departure. The measure reinforces existing rules for travel to Colombia, which has required evidence of vaccination since May 2025. Authorities emphasize that the yellow fever vaccine must be administered at least 10 days prior to travel to ensure protection.
