Climate Action Week Sydney 2026 launches as a major community-led festival to drive local climate action across Sydney and beyond.
Climate Action Week Sydney 2026 is a festival of community-led events running from 9–15 March 2026 across Sydney and regional areas. Organized as Australia’s platform to demonstrate how communities, industry, and government can accelerate climate action together, the week features workshops, forums, and on-the-ground initiatives focused on how to move, power cities, protect nature, and support one another in a net zero future. The event aims to bridge local action with global ambition ahead of COP31, where Australia is set to be President of the negotiations. By mobilizing neighborhoods, councils, universities, and businesses, Climate Action Week showcases practical climate solutions and fosters wide participation in the transition to a sustainable, low-emission economy.
