The Uruguayan Manos de Héroes foundation designs and prints 3D prosthetic hands and arms for children and adults, supported by private companies and donations. The prosthetics are free and tailored to individual needs, using mechanical or electronic designs placed on hands, forearms, elbows, or shoulders. The foundation has provided more than 100 free prostheses since 2020, focusing on people in vulnerable situations.
