Namibia reiterates calls for Middle East de‑escalation amid renewed strikes

Namibia has again urged an immediate cessation of hostilities and renewed diplomatic efforts in the Middle East following new rounds of military strikes involving Iran, Israel and the United States.

The Namibian government has reiterated its call for urgent de‑escalation and restraint after fresh military actions in the Middle East reportedly intensified regional tensions. Official statements emphasize respect for sovereignty, territorial integrity and non‑interference, in line with United Nations principles and African Union positions. Namibia warns that escalated strikes risk destabilizing an already fragile region and undermining global peace and security. The government calls on all parties to halt hostilities and return to dialogue and diplomatic engagement, while supporting multilateral efforts to prevent further loss of life and restore stability.
