Ivory Coast confirms 2026 economic and fiscal targets

Ivory Coast reaffirms its 2026 growth and fiscal goals, including 6.4% GDP expansion and continued public debt consolidation, as part of its IMF‑aligned reform path.

Ivory Coast has reiterated its macroeconomic targets for 2026, projecting real GDP growth of about 6.4% and maintaining tight fiscal discipline within its National Development Plan 2026–2030. The government is committed to narrowing the public deficit toward 3% of GDP in line with WAEMU convergence criteria, while continuing to broaden the tax base and strengthen public financial management. These measures are designed to support industrial transformation, infrastructure modernization, and job creation. The authorities are also sustaining their partnership with the IMF, drawing on policy dialogue and surveillance to anchor macroeconomic stability and investor confidence ahead of key 2026 debt and investment decisions.
