Ethiopia hosts the Fourth 'Invest in Ethiopia 2026' Forum in Addis Ababa aiming to secure over USD 2.4 billion in new foreign investment commitments.

Ethiopia has launched the Fourth 'Invest in Ethiopia 2026' High-Level Business Forum at the Skylight Hotel in Addis Ababa on March 26–27, 2026. The event brings together more than 800 international investors, business leaders, policymakers, and development partners to showcase the country's investment opportunities across manufacturing, agriculture and agro‑processing, mining, renewable energy, ICT, and tourism. Organized by the Ethiopian Investment Commission with the Ministry of Finance and international partners, the forum targets over USD 2.4 billion in new investment commitments. It follows economic reforms and strong macroeconomic performance, including robust GDP growth and improved export and remittance figures, positioning Ethiopia as a key destination for foreign direct investment in Africa.
