Turkmenistan and the European Union jointly hold a business forum in Ashgabat aimed at enhancing economic connectivity and attracting sustainable investment.

On 26 March 2026, Turkmenistan hosted the Turkmenistan–European Union Business Forum titled "New Horizons for Connectivity and Sustainable Growth" at the Yyldyz Hotel in Ashgabat. The event, co‑organized by the EU and the Government of Turkmenistan with the International Trade Centre, focused on boosting trade, transport and logistics links, and exploring new investment opportunities in infrastructure, energy and value‑added sectors. Delegates from European and Turkmen businesses discussed regulatory reforms, support for private sector development, and digitalization of trade processes. The forum is part of broader efforts to deepen Turkmenistan’s integration into regional and global markets while aligning its 2026 investment program with macroeconomic stability and growth targets.
