The UAE faces over 200,000 cyberattacks per day, with Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah being the most targeted regions.
According to data presented at Gitex Global 2025, the UAE faces more than 200,000 cyberattacks daily, including ransomware, data leaks and online attacks targeting critical infrastructure. Government entities, financial firms and energy organizations are the most affected. Dubai records the highest percentage of attacks at 21%, followed by Abu Dhabi and Sharjah.
