Israeli Airstrikes Hit South Lebanon and Beirut Suburbs

Israel launched airstrikes on multiple locations in southern Lebanon and Beirut's southern suburbs on March 25, 2026, amid ongoing clashes with Hezbollah. The attacks killed several people and wounded

On March 25, 2026, Israeli forces conducted airstrikes targeting Hezbollah positions in southern Lebanon and the southern suburbs of Beirut, according to Lebanese state media. The Lebanese Health Ministry reported at least a dozen deaths and dozens of injuries from the strikes, which hit residential areas in the Bint Jbeil, Marjayoun, Nabatieh, Sidon, and Tyre districts. Simultaneously, Hezbollah rocket fire continued into northern Israel, lightly wounding two men in the city of Karmiel. The strikes marked another escalation in the ongoing conflict that began when Hezbollah resumed rocket attacks after the killing of Iran's Supreme Leader on March 2, 2026. The Israeli military continued its campaign to dismantle Hezbollah's infrastructure while Hezbollah pledged to keep fighting until the threat from Israeli forces in southern Lebanon ended.
