Roadmap for the Development of Mining and the Digital Asset Market in Turkmenistan Has Been Develope
Turkmenistan adopts a national roadmap to regulate virtual assets and implement mining technologies through 2030.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has approved the Roadmap for the Regulation of Virtual Assets and the Implementation of Mining Technologies in Turkmenistan for 2026–2030. The roadmap outlines the creation of a legal, technological, and organizational framework for a functioning digital asset market, including the introduction of mining into the economy, upgrading energy and communications infrastructure, attracting investment, launching pilot projects, ensuring cybersecurity, improving energy efficiency, and training specialists in virtual assets.
