The Government of Barbados has issued a statement expressing deep concern over the escalation of hostilities in the Middle East following attacks by the United States and Israel on Iran, which prompted retaliatory strikes by Iran across the region. The Barbados government warns that the military action could affect multiple countries, undermine international peace and security, and has joined the United Nations Secretary–General António Guterres in condemning the escalation.
